Vacation, vacation...

It has been quite a while since I last posted on my blog. I have been busy you know. Busy with important things, like golfing (woohoo, I finally played my first tournament!) (didn't play too well, though) and planning my upcoming vacation. Four more days, and I'm gone with the wind! Towards Mickey Mouse, that is.

Yes, on Wednesday, I am leaving home, and going to the great airport of London Heathrow. You know, where all those lovely terrorists wanted to board a plane, and blow it up. Yes, you know what I'm talking about. I'll have more than 11,5 hours to worry about being blown up while somewhere above the Atlantic. No way I will ever cancel the trip though, Mickey is waiting for me.

So, I'll arrive on August 23 at LAX, transfer to my hotel at Disneyland. Then, after a night of recovering from jetlag, I'll enjoy FIVE FULL DAYS OF DISNEY MAGIC!!!!!!!!!!!! In my head, the Fantasmic! music and the Remember, dreams come true music is already playing.

I love this part. I really do. And I do love the Haunted Mansion part of the fireworks!!!

Don't you just love that part? Well, I guess you need to have seen the fireworks show to know about it, but trust me, it's great!

Yesterday, I also finally called the resort to make my ADRs or priority seatings or however Disney Dining calls it. And lucky me, I got almost all the ones I wanted: Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour (I'll finally get to look into Club 33, woohoo!), Dinner at Blue Bayou, Breakfast with Minnie Mouse (I already dream about the Mickey waffles!), dinner with the Princesses at DCA (actually just because I think it's a nice place to sit and watch the lights of California Screamin' etc) and dinner at Café Orleans. Carnation Cafe had some funky opening hours, so I didn't made ADR's/ PS's/ whatever-it-is-called for that one. Let's hope they'll allow walkups without having to wait half a day.

I dream about the Disney food. I really do. Yes, you read it right. I know the dining options at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris are better, but still... I like eating in general, so when I can do it at the House of Mouse, I like it even better!

The rest of my vacation will consist of spending half a day showing my mom the beach/ ocean at LA, then we are going to the Dallas/ Fort Worth area, then we are moving on to an exciting huge city in the Texas panhandle, followed by a visit of Washington DC. Y'all be warned!
