Going on vacation

Going on vacation. It should be relaxing. But it isn't. First of all, there is the planning. It is stressful to plan a vacation. Really.
Right now, I'm planning my the vacation my mom and I will take from August 23 until September 12. 13. We will leave in the 12th and arrive back in Belgium on the 13th. Until now, the plans are as following: We fly to California, spend 5 whole days at Disneyland, transfer to a hotel close to LAX and some beach, spend a half day on the beach/ pier/ eating seafood. Sleep a couple of hours and fly to DFW-area. Spend 3 whole days at DFW and then go to middle-of-nowhere Texas, where we'll visit friends. From there we fly to Washington DC, spend 3 days over there and then go back home.
That means that I have to book a gazillion of flights, 4 hotels, a rental car at DFW, shuttles at LA and Washington, Disney passes, reservations for tours and breakfast/ dinner at Disneyland, maybe tours at DFW or DC, ...
It also means I'll go through lots of trouble with credit cards. Since I book everything over the net, everything is paid for in advance with credit cards, but it's always a hassle because of the credit card limits.
Right now, nothing has been booked yet. I only have an excel-file with lots of sheets, with hotels, flights, prices, more prices and even more prices. I sent out an email to my friends, to check if they'll be home on the days we plan to visit them. That's always handy, you know. Saturday, I should start booking. First the flights. Then the hotels. Then the shuttles. Then the car. Then the Disney passes. Then the ADRs etc. Then the appointment at the hairdresser, in order to do something about my grey hair. Really.

Going on vacation is relaxing. In theory. But the planning is stressful. And fun too!
